Into Magnolia by Rosemary Hines

Sandy Cove series (#3)

9781449786052_COVER.inddFrom GoodReads: As Michelle Baron ascends the steps of Magnolia Middle School, her life is about to change forever. The dream of becoming a teacher leads her on an unexpected journey that will challenge her professionally and personally. Although 180 students file through her classroom daily, one demands her attention more than the others. Living in her third foster home in a year, Amber’s bitterness and rebellion spark a challenge within Michelle to somehow make a difference in this troubled girl’s life.

Meanwhile, Michelle’s daughter develops a series of unexplainable bruises. A stunning visit to the pediatrician reveals frightening possibilities. While Michelle tries to hold her fears at bay, Amber approaches her with a daunting crisis of her own.

“Into Magnolia “reveals the internal struggles and triumphs of a dedicated teacher, and the power of love to transform lives.

Into Magnolia blew me away! Rosemary Hines does an excellent job showing how Michelle copes with her new teaching job, including the time it takes to keep up with schoolwork and staff meetings. And of course, she has students with special issues, and she begins praying for them and reaches out to help them while trying to be there for her family, too.

I feel like I know Michelle and her family and friends. I worried with her as she waited for her daughter’s test results and rejoiced at the good news! Then as Michelle is once again promised a baby boy through private adoption, I held my breath as problems occurred, until she was finally able to take him home.

Into Magnolia is a wonderful story and will bless all who read it. My life has surely been blessed by this series. Thank you, Rosemary!

I was given the opportunity to read an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
