Home is where our story begins …

DANA JACOBS would rather forget the night of tragedy and violence that marred her childhood. She is now supervisor in charge of the Department of Homeland Security in Taos, New Mexico. Her team is prepared to handle any threat—biological, chemical, conventional, cyber, even nuclear. BENJAMIN MARSHALL is newly assigned to Dana’s office. Straight from a six year military deployment, he is not what Dana wants or needs.

Ben knows God has a reason for putting him in this place at this time—to help Dana. When a local school is threatened, they open a case which leads them on a chase through the Enchanted Circle and Carson National Forest, pursuing a man filled with a bitterness Dana can understand. But her anger is different. It’s justified, it remains hidden inside, and it hurts no one.

Can Dana face her own mortality? And when she does, can she truly understand what it means to forgive and to be forgiven?

“A lovely romance between a complicated woman and a big hearted man, tension that builds steadily to a fever pitch, and a story of faith rediscovered make Hidden an engaging read.”

At 42, Etta discovers she’s pregnant again.

After a frightening labor, Etta births a baby girl. That joyful moment is followed by months of worry.

Will their estranged son, David, return home? Can Mose save the farm or will they be forced to move?

Etta must hold tightly to the promise that God will watch over each of her children—and that He does have a plan for their future.

“An Amish Cradle releases in February. I was thrilled to co-write this collection with Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller and Amy Clipston. My novella is titled An Unexpected Blessing.”

June 2015

The Amish Village has been decorated with every color of balloon and flower for the Race for a Cure race. The turn out is fabulous and money is being raised to support cancer research.

Then Ryan Duvall is killed as he crosses the finish line. Who would do such a vile, violent, brash thing in broad daylight? And why? The police suspect Preston Johnstone, but Amber refuses to believe her employee could do such a thing.

Nerves are strung tight as Amber has spent the last several weeks dealing with the poison poet, an individual who has been leaving notes containing bad poetry and baked goods which are supposedly tainted with various toxins. Can they help the police stop a killer before he—or she–strikes again? Could Preston have done it during one of his dread flashbacks? And why is someone tormenting her with threatening notes and poisonous baked goods?

Both Amber and Hannah will need to draw on their faith and trust in God’s grace and mercy as they fight to preserve what they’ve built at the Amish Village.

Murder Freshly Baked is the final book in my Amish Village Mystery series set in Middlebury, Indiana. I’m super-excited about this release.
