World War II stories are so interesting to me. My FIL, now 91, served in the Navy and was involved in the Omaha Beach invasion. I’d love to win one of these debut novels.

Oh, Gail! How fascinating! I love connecting with family members of WWII vets. 🙂 They were/are such a strong generation who will be greatly missed…

My first novel, Letters from Grace, is written about the Normandy Invasion. My Grandfather-in-law stormed Omaha on D-Day as well. There is one scene in particular that is written through his eyes…what he felt, smelled, etc…

I hope you’ll get the chance to read one or both of my novels. 🙂 Best wishes in the drawing!

Hello Rachel. I also lik the WW ll era, since my brother cousins, and lots of close family friends served too. I was 9 and 10 years old but remember how things were. Moved from a very small town to Houston, Texas so daddy could work in the shipyard. Back then all of those back home did anything they could help out. Your books sound good and i would love to win one. Donna, thanks for introducing Rachel. I am a follower of yours and enjoyed this post. Thanks for a chance to win. Maxie

      Maxie,

My you have a beautifully fascinating heritage! I’m sure it wasn’t easy at the time, but for those of us who have a deep respect for the era, we are aware of the sacrifices and true patriotism shown by those, like your family members.

It is my hope to keep the memory of these brave men and women alive for the future generations. Thanks so much for visiting today. Best wishes in the drawing!

Rachel, I am so very sorry that you had such a rough time growing up. I don’t really understand why people enjoy making other people feel worthless. I am so very happy that God healed you and set you on the path to happiness and joy. God bless you, and I am looking forward to reading your books!
