Lost Legacy| Dana Mentink Marathon

Today I am reviewing Lost Legacy, the first book in the Treasure Seekers series by Dana Mentink.

Here is a brief synopsis:

Brooke Ramsey is running out of time.

She needs to save her father’s reputation before she loses him to illness.

That means finding the painting that went missing while in his care.

Fast. Which is why she teams up with Victor Gage, owner of Treasure Seekers agency.

The charming private detective has more at stake than uncovering a lost masterpiece.

He’s investigating his wife’s death, and the artwork holds the answer.

As Victor and Brooke draw closer to each other, so does a murderer. Someone wants the past to remain buried and will kill again to keep it hidden.

Brooke is a great character!

Lost Legacy begins with Brooke Ramsey trying to hire Victor Gage, the owner of Treasure Seekers Agency, to help her find a missing painting worth a fortune.

At first he’s not interested, but when she tells him she thinks she’s being followed – and he catches her in the lobby, just before someone outside the building begins shooting – he gets involved – fast!

Wow! Dana Mentink does a great job leading her characters (and her readers) through several twists and turns, while searching for the missing painting.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so you need to read this book for yourself – but it’s a great mystery – and if you plan to read the series, it’ll be much better (in my opinion) if you start here, with Lost Legacy.

Yes! It has drama… action… and danger… once again, I didn’t put it down until I was finished.

This is a great read!
