Falling For The Lawman | Ruth Logan Herne

Today I am reviewing Falling For The Lawman, the 2nd book in the Kirkwood Lake series by Ruth Logan Herne.

Here is a brief synopsis:

The Lawman Next Door

Piper McKinney’s got her hands full.

Busy saving her farm from developers, and her family from trouble, she has no time for love.

Not even for the handsome state trooper who becomes her new neighbor.

But Zach Harrison can’t ignore the girl next door. Even though he gave up the farming life years ago, Piper intrigues him, and her plight calls out to the protector in him.

Piper may not want a man, especially one with a badge, but Zach will show her that he’s here to serve and protect…and love.

Kirkwood Lake: A town full of heart and hope.

MY THOUGHTS:

No one should have to fight against their own family to save their home!

But when developers get everyone involved . . . from Piper’s brothers . . . to the current town supervisor, Piper discovers she will either have to fight . . . or flee!

Zach and his father have just moved next door, when Zach – a state trooper – declares war on his neighbor’s roosters. But when he meets the enchanting Piper McKinney, sassy and sweet, he’s more than interested – he’s hooked!

Come on . . . you have to want to read more . . . so be sure to pick up a copy of Falling For the Lawman today. Shoot . . . pick up the whole series, begin with book 1 – The Lawman’s Second Chance – and read them all with me.

Ruth Logan Herne has no trouble holding on to my attention with this exciting series . . . the problem is putting down the book and getting some sleep! Oh well, who needs sleep anyway —

Don’t miss this exciting series, found in the wonderful (fictional) place of Kirkwood Lake.

Happy Reading!
