Waiting Here For You | Louie Giglio

Today I am reviewing Waiting Here For You, an Advent Journey of Hope by Louie Giglio.

Here is a brief synopsis:

It comes the same time every year.

Christmas.

We have plenty of time to anticipate it, or in some cases…dread it. And, before we know it, it’s gone as quickly as it came.

What’s it all for?

Is there really hope for today in the story of a baby born so long ago?

These questions and others are answered in the promises of Advent.

Advent is simply a season of expectant waiting and preparation.

Most often, the arrival of an event or a person is made all the more sweet by our anticipation. How could waiting and expectation change your Christmas season?

Join pastor and author Louie Giglio in an Advent journey to discover that waiting is not wasting when you’re waiting on the Lord. Take hold of the chance to uncover the vast hope offered through the journey of Advent.

In Waiting Here for You, readers will find peace and encouragement for their souls as anticipation leads toward celebration!

MY THOUGHTS:

I love Christmas devotionals!

Christmas devotionals are a special part of the season.

The first time I heard Louie Giglio was during the “How Great Is Our God” tour, where Louie spoke about the greatness of the universe.

When I received an email, telling me this book was to offered on Booklook, I made a note to request it. Thankfully, I received it in time to use some of the devotionals during the Advent season. They are short, interesting, and a great addition to your Christmas season.
Each devotion includes a verse, a reflection on the verse itself, a poem or hymn to meditate on, and a prayer.

This is a much-needed addition to your Christmas/Advent traditions. Be sure to get your copy before the next Advent season.

Happy Reading!!!

Blessings!

I love Louie Gigglio. One of my friends goes to his church. Now I’ve got another book to get.
