Pocket Prayers for Friends | Max Lucado

Today I am reviewing Pocket Prayers for Friends  by Max Lucado and Betsy St. Amant.

Here is a brief synopsis:

Some friends are closer than family.

They weave their way into our lives, there to celebrate the highs and comfort us through the lows.

And for those special friends, Max Lucado offers forty scriptures and guided prayers that bring joy and serenity in Pocket Prayers for Friends.

MY THOUGHTS:

Max Lucado writes with humor, compassion, and respect.

He speaks of the Bible, the disciples and how they asked Jesus to teach them to pray.

Then Max, with the help of Betsy St. Amant, has chosen 40 Bible passages, and written out 40 specific prayers — especially for special friends.

After reading through the prayers and writing my review, I placed this book lovingly with other gifts, to give a very special friend — today.

I hope these prayers are as special to her — and you — as they are to me.

Happy Reading!

God Bless You!

I hand delivered it to my wonderful friend. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did…
