Small-Town Hearts | Ruth Logan Herne Marathon

Today I am reviewing Small-Town Hearts, the 2nd book in the Men of Allegany County series by Ruth Logan Herne.

Here is a brief synopsis:

Securing a location for his family’s chain of sweet shops is big-city businessman Danny Graham’s secret mission.

But Grandma Mary’s Candies will mean the end of Megan Russo’s little shop—and the end of her dreams.

How can Danny put a quaint, small-town candy shop out of business?

Especially one owned by a kind young woman who’s lost too much already?

Still, here he is, trying to romance his sweet rival…, although Megan doesn’t know who he really is.

Seems like Danny needs to look into his own heart and discover what matters most.

Will big business spell disaster for a small-town sweetheart? SMALL-TOWN HEARTS by Ruth Logan HerneTweet this!

When I began reading Small-Town Hearts, I was quickly pulled into the story . . .  and I found myself wishing I could smack Danny Graham! Who does he think he is, coming into town, buying up property for a new candy store, when he knows his family’s chain store will put Megan — and her sweet, quaint store — out of business!

Well, at least she plays it cool . . . a little.

I can’t say more, or I might give away too much of the story — and I don’t do spoilers!

So what you need to do now is get a copy to read — matter of fact, if I were you, I’d just get the whole series and read one right after another, until you’re done!

Ruth Logan Herne is most definitely one of my favorite authors . . . and I’m looking forward to meeting her someday. She writes books that are full of inspiring, lovable characters, who grab your interest — and don’t let go until the end.

Thank you for another great review. I haven’t read this one in the Men of Allegany County series by Ruth Logan Herne. So it’s going on my TBR list. God bless.
