Today I am reviewing Yuletide Redemption, a Love Inspired Romance by Jill Kemerer.
Here is a brief synopsis:
A Mother’s Christmas Wish
After an accident leaves Celeste Monroe to raise her baby nephew, all she wants is to provide one-year-old Parker with a happy life.
She hopes taking a job caring for injured Sam Sheffield will help fulfill that goal. But Sam’s determination to avoid the world throws a wrench in her plans.
Despite his best efforts, Sam can’t take his eyes off the pretty caretaker. Her strength and her loving nature has him falling for her—and her baby.
But he refuses to burden them with a man who’s not whole. Can Celeste convince Sam he’s daddy — and husband — material in time for them to celebrate Christmas together?
This was such an awesome story!
I have to be honest; at first, I thought Celeste and Sam were expecting a little too much — instead of being grateful for what they have. I’m not sure if the reader (like me) can really appreciate the main characters’ feelings about their current situations, unless the reader (like me) can see themself with such a disability.
But when I stopped and really considered how I would feel, if I had lived Celeste or Sam’s life, and was suddenly thrust into such a different lifestyle, then yeah, I would want my old life back. And that’s exactly what Celeste and Sam want . . . to be the same person they were before their accident.
Of course, we all know that’s impossible, in most cases. So what would you do, if you were in Celeste or Sam’s place? I’m not telling! My advice . . . get a copy of this wonderful book and find out what they do.
This is the fourth book in Jill Kemerer’s new Sheffield Siblings series. My plan is to go back and find all the others, then read them together, one-by-one. I definitely want to get to know the Sheffield Siblings better!
Happy Reading — and Merry Christmas!
God bless you!
