The Hybrid Challenge | JC Morrows, Macy Morrows

Today I am reviewing The Hybrid Challenge, the 2nd chapter book in the Tales of a Teenage Alien Human Hybrid series, by JC Morrows and Macy Morrows.

Here is a brief synopsis:

As if I don’t have enough to deal with. . .

It’s crazy enough to find out, the hard way, that you are not who you thought you were.

But to have that kind of bombshell dropped on you, and then — to have your Dad ditch you — leaving you to figure stuff out all by yourself, with a Mom you can’t tell anything about what’s going on. . . and school enemies lurking around unexpected corners.

I mean. . . come on. It’s summer!

Between trying to keep a tight grip on my sanity, not to mention my new crazy alien powers, dealing with Ashley and her band of terrible teens, not knowing if I still have a best friend or not is just the straw I do not need to be saddled with this summer.

Is it any wonder I feel like I just might lose it any second! And if I do. . . well, keeping the secret from Mom will be the least of my problems!

Book two of the Tales of a Teenage Alien Human Hybrid series.

Zoe is a really cool teenager… the only thing is, she has blue hair… and just after her dad takes her on a vacation and reveals a big secret, he disappears and she’s left to figure things out on her own!

And she can’t tell her mom!

So what happens when Zoe returns home to deal with her new life-altering secret? Especially when her best friend shows up, wanting to know what happened before Zoe left — you know, when the bedroom door kept opening and closing on its’ own.

This is such an adorable story… about a teenage-girl who gets the most surprising news — something extraordinary, and more than a bit alarming!

In this second book, Zoe’s dad has ended their vacation early and taken off for parts unknown, leaving Zoe to deal with family and friends, and new neighbors. I loved how the authors tap into what it would be like to learn that you’re half alien, plus dealing with new powers that could cause all sorts of problems. Can Zoe handle things on her own? Will her alien dad ever return?

If you are as curious as I am — pre-order your copy today so you can read the story as soon as it releases. Once you do, you’ll want to know even more (like I do) and you’ll be anticipating the return of Zoe (and her two dads) in The Human Complication, the next sequel in this fun, exciting series.

Happy Reading!

God Bless You!
