Today I am reviewing The Cowboy’s Belated Discovery, the fifth story in the Saddle Springs Romance series by Valerie Comer.

Here is a brief synopsis:

Oh mercy… why is it that the people you least want to ever see again seem to turn up at the worst moments! And the people you really want to be with seen to be out of your reach!

Here is a brief synopsis:

YES!  I knew it!  I just knew it!

And now comes the hard part… I can’t tell you what I’m referring to, or I’ll spoil the story — and I cannot do that! But believe me, I am certain you are going to LOVE this story as much as I do. I love it so much, I honestly can’t wait to read it again. So I’m going to read the whole series again when the next book in the series comes out!

Awesome characters!  Awesome story!  Awesome ending!

Oh, how I loved the story of Trevor and Denae!

Trevor reminded me of the many, many people who have had a bad experience and are determined to close off their hearts from love. it seems a safer place to be, but it’s a lonely one… as Trevor finally realizes… and he quickly decides to date Denae before he loses his courage.

What a wonderful story! Once you begin reading it, you won’t be able to put it down until the end. Don’t miss this exciting new series by Valerie Comer!

This was a VERY difficult list to create… first, I began gathering the names of all my favorite authors. After re-checking my bookcases and bookshelf blog, I found that I have well over 100 names! Now, this might not sound like a lot to some of you, but I was astounded that I had that many favorite authors – those whom I refuse to part with their books!

I began paring down… whew, that was rough! What I really wanted to do was to name them all — but that seemed to defeat the purpose of listing the TOP chosen few.

I tried — I really did — and I still didn’t get everyone on the list that I hoped to!

MY THOUGHTS:

Valerie Comer has a wonderful way of writing Christian fiction. Her characters real, not to mention colorful and interesting. And the emphasis on fresh foods is an awesome addition to her books!

Kassidy North is a great character… she’s been working 24/7 trying to run her busy bistro, plus an added once-a-month cooking class, but lately she’s been wondering if she’ll ever have any time to herself. When Wesley Ferguson and his son visit the bistro, he’s charmed by the lovely Kass.

Meanwhile, Wesley is being introduced, thanks to his friends, to something new and a bit scary… church — and God. When Kass learns that Wesley isn’t a Christian, her thoughts and feelings are put on hold, hoping that Wesley will make the right decision and become a Christian.
