Shock Wave

TRAPPED…WITH A KILLER?

When an earthquake rips through San Francisco, the last person journalist Sage Harrington expects to run into is ex-soldier Trey Black. After what they survived in Afghanistan, she doesn’t know if she can face him again. But now they’re trapped in the bowels of a ramshackle opera house on a mission to find Sage’s missing cousin. And they may not be the only ones. Someone is desperate to keep them from discovering the truth. With time running out and devastation and danger all around, Sage and Trey must put their trust in each other to make it out alive.

Force of Nature

STORMY REUNION

Pulled from the waves and gasping for air, the last person Antonia Verde expects to be her rescuer is Reuben Sandoval. He may once have been the love of her life, but his drug-smuggling brother ruined their chance of happiness. Now with a storm blowing in, Rueben’s island hotel is her only refuge. Soon they find themselves trapped on the island with a killer in the midst of a dangerous hurricane. Antonia’s life is in Rueben’s hands—can she trust him with her heart, as well?

Flood Zone

PRIME SUSPECT

Mia Sandoval’s friend is murdered under mysterious circumstances—and the single mother is a suspect. Her only ally is a man she isn’t sure she can trust. Search and rescue worker Dallas Black has a past as harrowing as Mia’s own, and the police are suspicious of them both. With no choice but to work with secretive Dallas, Mia discovers he’s as complicated as the murder they’re forced to investigate to clear her name. Yet as a flood ravages their small Colorado town, a killer is determined that Mia, Dallas and their evidence get swept away to a watery grave.

It was fun to write a natural disaster series. The earthquake one was definitely born of experience, particularly the Loma Prieta Quake in ’89 during the World Series!
